Using Geometry to Build a 17th Century Fort By Chace

I encourage as many of my students to learn hands-on and to apply what they have learned. Chace, who is currently a rising 5th grader, finished and presented his project: to design a geometric fort that would hypothetically fend off an army in the 17th century. He used the concepts he learned from geometry and physics and created his fort using Minecraft. You can see his presentation below. Enjoy!
